About the Album

I unexpectedly felt a divine calling to write lyrics in 2010. At the time, my youngest child was just 14 years old. She learned to write music so she could help bring my lyrics to life, and for several years we wrote together and dreamed about someday getting our songs out into the world.

Although those songs were never published, I continued to carry them with me. Over the years, I even had literal dreams in which I saw my songs being performed live on stage.

In the spring of 2025, I took a Worship Intensive with GCSSM, led by Georgian Banov. It stirred my desire to write again, and I wrote some new lyrics, but the fire still had not fully returned.

Then, in 2026, something happened that changed everything.

Pastor James Levesque was a guest teacher for the Jesus Style Leadership Academy, part of Brian Simmons’ ministry. His message to this group of leaders was about dreams that God wants to resurrect, the fire He wants to reignite, and the power of disappointment that He wants to break.

He challenged us to ask three questions:

  1. What dream has the Holy Spirit been asking you to resurrect?

  2. What has stolen your fire, and what needs to change for it to burn again?

  3. Where in your life is God asking you to get back on the wave?

Those questions went straight to my heart.

That day, I began talking with God and asking Him what dreams He wanted me to resurrect.

The very next morning, God began answering me through a conversation with my friend Amanda Cheatwood.

Amanda was telling me about her debut song and how she had created it using Suno. As she shared her experience, a spark reignited in my heart. I realized there might finally be a way to bring the songs I had been carrying for more than 15 years into the world.

I began experimenting.

What followed was an unexpected creative adventure. I spent countless hours listening, refining prompts, experimenting, and making creative decisions about the sound, style, arrangement, and production of each song until I heard what I was looking for.

The lyrics came through my relationship with God.

Every lyric on this album was written entirely by me, without AI assistance or editing. These songs are the fruit of a creative journey that began in 2010 and continued through many seasons of my life.

I used AI music technology as a creative production tool to help transform my original lyrics into fully produced songs. The technology opened a door, but the songs themselves were already part of my story.

When I finally heard one of these songs performed, something inside me came alive again. I felt like a little kid.

The fire was back.

I knew that something I had almost forgotten was being resurrected.

These ten songs are the dreams I believe God was asking me to resurrect.

Dedication

This album is dedicated with deep gratitude to Brian and Candice Simmons. (Click HERE to visit website.)

Thank you for your faithfulness to God, your ministry, your mentorship, and your life's work through The Passion Translation. Your investment in the Word of God and in the lives of others has profoundly influenced my own journey of faith and creativity.

I am grateful for the many ways your ministry has helped me encounter Scripture, the heart of God, and the beauty of God's Presence.

This album is offered with love and deep appreciation for all you have poured out.

With Gratitude

Pastor James Levesque

Thank you for the prophetic message you brought to the Jesus Style Leadership Academy about resurrecting the dreams God has placed within us, reigniting the fire, breaking the power of disappointment, and getting back on the wave.

Your message caused me to stop and seek God about the dreams I had laid down.

I had no idea that within 24 hours, God would begin answering those questions and opening a door for me to bring songs I had carried for more than 15 years into the world.

Thank you for listening to God and being willing to speak what He put on your heart. Your message was a significant part of the beginning of this album.

Amanda Cheatwood

Amanda, thank you for being such a huge source of inspiration.

The morning after Pastor James’ message, you told me about your debut song, Living Waters (Link to YouTube video) and how you had created it using Suno. You had no idea what was happening in my heart as we talked.

I had just been asking God what dream He wanted me to resurrect. Then, through our conversation, I suddenly saw a possibility for the songs I had been carrying all these years.

That conversation became the spark that helped me realize I could bring these songs to life.

Thank you for sharing your creative journey so generously and for being willing to step into something new. I am deeply grateful for the part you played in helping me rediscover the fire and bring these songs into the world.

Bless you, Amanda.

About the Songs

1: Passion and Fire

Written in 2026, Passion and Fire is the newest song on the album and tells the story of God reigniting a passion I thought I had lost. He was always there, and the dream He gave me was never gone—I simply could no longer see it. When He reignited the fire and passion in me, He restored my hope that these songs could finally make their way into the world.

2: The Great I Am

Originally written in 2010 and revised and edited in 2026, The Great I Am celebrates the greatness of Jesus and declares that He is God and that nothing is impossible for Him. The song draws on stories of people throughout Scripture who encountered the supernatural power and promises of God—Samson, Enoch, Esther, David, Sarah, and Deborah. Their stories remind us that God can use ordinary people in extraordinary ways. I have discovered personally that every promise and miracle of God is ultimately realized through relationship with Jesus.

3: The Voice

Originally written in 2014 and revised in 2026, The Voice was inspired by the wisdom described in the Book of Proverbs. I see Wisdom as a picture of the Holy Spirit—the One who lives within us, speaks to us, and guides us through life. This song grew out of my deep appreciation for how essential my relationship with the Holy Spirit is to my Christian life and my desire to honor the Holy Spirit as the third Person of the Trinity.

4: You Made Me Beautiful

Written in 2010, You Made Me Beautiful was the first song I ever wrote. It reflects my personal journey of transformation—from growing up in a dysfunctional home and searching for God through religious tradition, to discovering that He had been there all along, loving me. This song celebrates the beautiful identity He gives us and the strength and freedom we find in knowing who we are in Him.

5: Love Personified

Written entirely in 2026, Love Personified was inspired by the Song of Solomon and celebrates the passionate love God has for His Bride, the Church. It is a reminder that God is not distant or far away. His love is present, personal, and alive within His people. The Kingdom of God is not merely something we are waiting for in the future—it has already come and is being revealed through Christ living in His Bride here on earth.

6: Dance With Me, My Turtledove

Written during the 2025 GCSSM Worship Intensive and edited and revised in 2026, Dance With Me, My Turtledove was born out of encountering the Presence of God. Inspired by the Song of Solomon, this song captures the beauty of simply being with Him—resting in His Presence, experiencing His love, and enjoying the intimacy of knowing Him.

7: Blessed Assurance

Written in 2011 and edited and revised in 2026, Blessed Assurance was born during one of the most extraordinary seasons of my life. I was experiencing significant physical pain and was sent to the hospital for an MRI. The doctors were concerned enough about what they saw to order additional testing, but I did not know what they suspected.

On the drive home, I walked through my front door and the landline immediately rang. The instant I picked up the receiver, I experienced a supernatural internal shift—a peace that surpassed understanding. Nothing could disturb my peace. I knew everything was going to be okay, even though I had no idea what “okay” would look like.

That night, I wrote this song before my appointment for a full-body bone scan. At the hospital, the technician was a Christian, and we praised the Lord together throughout the entire procedure. I received an excellent report and was never diagnosed with cancer. The condition eventually proved to be a musculoskeletal disorder, and the Lord ultimately led me to a highly skilled chiropractic specialist.

The supernatural peace remained with me 24/7 for three entire weeks while the remaining tests were completed and the reports came back. Blessed Assurance is my testimony of a peace that was not dependent on circumstances or understanding, but on knowing that God was with me.

8: I Believe in Miracles

Originally written in 2011 and revised and edited in 2026, I Believe in Miracles was written after the three-week season of supernatural peace described in Blessed Assurance. It grew out of a lifetime of witnessing God's miracles while also realizing that I would not always understand how or why they happen.

I have come to believe that trust is the key. I don't believe in miracles because I understand how they happen—I believe in them because I believe in the goodness and power of God. This song is an invitation to trust Him even when we don't have all the answers.

9: Through His Eyes

Originally written in 2010 and edited slightly in 2026, Through His Eyes is one of the most emotionally significant songs I have ever written. I wrote it in honor of what would have been my stillborn daughter Kristin's 18th birthday. The song expresses the deep longing to hold her in my arms and the ache of a loss that can never be fully expressed in words.

Yet woven through that longing is hope—the hope of God's resurrection power and the promise that death does not have the final word. Through His Eyes is ultimately a song about love that continues beyond loss and the hope that one day I will see my daughter again.

10: Hold Me Tight

Written in 2026, Hold Me Tight  is simply a fun Pop song about enjoying life with God. I realized that God is fun too. Sometimes He doesn't want us to be serious, worried, or focused on our problems. Sometimes He wants us to let go, trust Him, enjoy His Presence, and have a good time with Him.

This song is a celebration of the joy of being alive, letting go of our concerns, and discovering that our relationship with God can include laughter, freedom, dancing, and just having fun together.
